What We Do
We’ve been building roads and driveways for over 30 years, plus a wide range of other civil engineering features like earth works, excavations, drainage and retaining walls.
Whilst we specialise in gravel driveways, private roads and asphalt parking areas, we are available to help with things like earthworks, base preparations, gravel pads and drainage.
We also do longer term driveway and gravel road maintenance and repairs.
We are driveway experts who manage the whole process of earthworks, base preparations and driveway construction including gravel driveways, and asphalting & bitumen.
Whether it’s a long private access road or new road way for your property, we have the skill set and equipment to help you design, construct, repair and maintain roadways for any situation in town or in the country.
Asphalt and bitumen driveways, hard stands and parking areas provide that extra level of quality whilst keeping your cars, equipment & property clean. We can also help with all the associated drainage and work.

Since early 1991, Kahn has been operating earthmoving machinery and building driveways as O’Donnell Contracting.
Based at Sandfly, he is a dedicated member of the local community who really cares about his workmanship and lasting relationships with clients and other members of the community.
Kahn has a wide range of civil engineering and construction knowledge from hands-on experience building driveways and roads for over 30 years. His expertise includes excavations, base preparations, drainage, road works, gravel driveways, asphalting & bitumen, and rock retaining walls.
O’Donnell Contracting has a fleet including two 10 yard trucks, 12t excavator, 5t excavator, grader, bobcat and roller.
